Krewella – Play Hard EP [Stream]

Am I even allowed to post something this pornographic[to the ears] on this site? I mean I don’t want it to come across like all we put up are absolutely explicitly sexually raunchy[for your listening pleasure] posts. But anyways, I guess it’s time to unveil this new playboy-girl[s]-of-the-year of an EP– Krewella’s brand new ‘Play Hard’, and that’s exactly what it does to that part of a brain that listens, enjoys, and goes into that state of euphoria. Turn this as loud as you can, live it up, and play hard.

EDC 2012 –

June 2012 DJ Mix –

Bassnectar ft. Lupe Fiasco – Vava Voom [Vinyl Version]

Looking straight out of a Death Metal band, the Viking of Dubstep Bassnectar’s dubliscious creation- Vava Voom- gets a huge remix. Giving it a nice beginning before the madness kicks in, this track definitely meets BANGER status on so many levels. This version doesn’t include too much of Lupe’s verses so if that’s what you’re looking for, might as well go check out the original.

Adventure Club ft. Krewella – Rise & Fall (Krewella Remix)

Gorgeous women. Grimy beats. Some other word that starts with a G and something about the song… Yes, they definitely did remix their own track and I’m damn glad they did. I absolutely love where this trio is going and especially that they’re living life and having so much fun pursuing it. Check out their proud masterpiece and I can’t wait to hear more from this team.

Archie – One More Cupcake

Got some new dirty house music if you’re hungry. Archie drops this banger, definitely delving into some Dub with the House and I’m loving it, a dark drop that spirals downwards and comes back up for air just in time.

Cypress Hill x Rusko – New Album

Rusko and Cypress Hill’s monster is finally here and you can listen to the entire thing for free before you decide to buy. Rusko’s one of the top producers these days for good reason, and we all know(or should know) the legacy of Cypress Hill. This album is definitely a masterpiece, I haven’t been this excited since Nero’s ‘Welcome Reality’.

Skrillex – Voltage

Dirty. Filthy. Absolutely worthy of a listen – Skrillex’ new whomper, Voltage, seems to get leaked and spoils us with even more bass. Using songs that catapulted him into the spotlight, he combines them with his signature drops and out comes with frenzy of a masterpiece. I’d write more on Skrillex, but you should already know about him by now.

Fork’n’Knife / The Cataracs / DJ Carnage – 17

Fork’n’Knife. Reppin some huge dirty bass straight from Moscow, definitely showing us the game is definitely stepping up in competition. Teaming up with one of my personal favorites, The Cataracs, and mixing it up with DJ Carnage’s, well carnage. Check it and love it.

Labrinth – Last Time (Knife Party Remix)

Knife Party officially drops this banger and, by God, it’s worth posting again. They take this track leaps and bounds from the original and if this track ever pops up in a club that I’m in, I’ll probably die happy. Give your ears a present and listen –

Knife Party – Rage Valley [Brand New EP]

Do yourself a favor and don’t even argue with me on this one. Just download this. Now. Period. MUST HAVE. This stuff is gold and as one of my best friends put it, “Game changer”.

Sleigh Bells – Demons (Diplo Remix)

We got Diplo here asserting his dominance in the crowd of millions. Taking Sleigh Bells’ distorted and destroyed track of ‘Demons’, cleaning it up, then dirtying it back up with his own concoction of sound. The two-person team of Sleigh Bells, known for their shredding guitars and hard-hitting drums surrounding the lead vocalists female voice, are definitely on the up in popularity and with this DJ remixing them into oblivion, it’ll only get them more recognized. Diplo definitely haunted this track.

R3hab – EDC 2012, NY Playlist

Remember when this guy used to be on our site every other day?? Well he’ll probably still be because he’s definitely one of the hardest working DJs, if not the hardest right now. This man keeps on dropping new stuff every ten minutes(or so it seems), and now here he drops his entire set from his Electric Daisy Carnival party in New York. I now bow to everyone going to EDC Vegas. Enjoy the pregame until then.

Muse – Plug In Baby (Rakit Remix)

The one and only, Muse. The legend of melody Matthew Bellamy has tuned his craft so razor-sharp that it’s hard for -anyone- to match his talent. Enter Rakit, randy as hell, comes out of nowhere and decides to remix the upbeat, Plug In Baby. Slowly churning it into a grimy track with old school dubstep qualities, this one is sure to impress. Of course, this tracks been out for awhile now- but it definitely needs more love. I’ll include another, more recent track Rakit’s decided to grime up as well.

QATD – Get Scared (Rakit Remix)

Lisa Mitchell – Neopolitan Dreams (Sound Remedy Remix)

Gonna throw in a little change of pace with this next one. Here we got Sound Remedy doing something that I’m really growing fond of: remixing indie artists. The vocals on these females are so calming and relaxed that when the bass drops it gives it so much more momentum for me. Gonna start looking into more of these, which isn’t to say I’m gonna stop throwing ragers out, because trust me. I live for the ragers.

Minnesota – Astral Projection [EP]

Being here since the beginning of Dubstep’s popularity, Minnesota definitely took advantage of his talent and the genre’s rising praise. He’s come a long way from putting out nothing but whompers and I love the direction he’s moving. This track is the chillest, most melodic sound I’ve heard from him. Can’t wait to hear what else he brings to the table.

Knife Party – Internet Friends [Music Video]

The visuals for Knife Party’s ‘Internet Friends’ have finally arrived. The director definitely captured the craziness of the song with this video, as well as Mark Zuckeyberg’s secret life. The women in here are definitely nice treat, so sit back and enjoy.

Dillon Francis – IDGAFOS 2.0

Mr. Dillon Francis fresh off his unveiling of his new EP bringing us another new track. Well, not really new, but the VIP version of his jovial tune of I DON’T GIVE A FUCK OR SHIT. If you’re having a downright shit day, just turn this on and DGAF… OS.

Taio Cruz – Troublemaker (R3hab Remix)

Surprised? You shouldn’t be- he made known that he was going to be dropping remix after remix in the next few months and, unlike other artists, actually delivered! Once again dropping an amazing remix is rising star DJ R3hab. Keep it up!

Dead C∆T Bounce – Solution EP [Minimix]

I absolutely love Dead C∆t’s sound, mixing in instruments that you wouldn’t think belonged in Dubstep(such as the harpsichord) and still killing it without sounding completely ridiculous. If you don’t believe me check out their remix of Skrillex’ DnB track, ‘Turmoil’. That being said, here’s their introductory minimix to their new EP Solution.

Dirtyloud – March DJ Mix 2012

The Dirtyloud duo have dropped this huge DJ mix just in time for the weekend. Perfect way to pump yourself up for partying if you’re down in the dumps, or just plain burnt out. Enjoy and have a shot in my honor.

Shapes of Light – We Are / Die Young [Brand New EP]

“Dropping breaks and raging bass”, is what Andrew and Nicolas claim that they’re all about– I’d definitely have to agree. While both tracks are sit-and-stare-at-a-wall-while-contemplating-life, they both rage in their own respects. The first track is a lot more solemn with bursts of bass, and the latter starts off with a melancholy piano(accompanied with a voice that’s hard to decipher the gender of) but then goes into a hip-hop beat of bass that delves on the darker side.

Knife Party – Internet Friends (Shy Kidx Remix)

The mighty Lords of remixing have been remixed. Shy Kidx is a relatively unknown but up and coming DJ Duo out of Italy. Definitely been hard at work within these last few months. Knife Party on the other hand should need no introduction, you’ve heard them previously on their remix of Labrinth’s ‘Last Time’ which was absolute fire. Well, who wins in this battle: The original ‘Internet Friends’ or Shy Kidx twist?

Lil Wayne ft. Drake – She Will (Stratus Remix)

Got the Tuesday blues? Definitely feel you on that. Stratus busts out remixes ‘She Will’ and definitely keeps it chill. Hopefully this will phase out your brain and propel you into the half-week that much faster.
